migas
Because we couldn’t do a Tex-Mex breakfast without it. Free-range eggs with onion, green chili, our red salsa and scrambled with shredded corn tortillas (V)
Bean and cheese
Maybe the owners’ favorite taco. Scratch-made charro beans refried with lots of cheddar. A San Antonio marvel.
Carne guisada (not asada!)
Spanish for “stewed meat,” this stewed beef delight is slow cooked in a rich gravy of tomatoes, peppers, and onions and topped with cheese. Hector’s favorite.
Chicken Fajita
Organic chicken breast strips seasoned and grilled with onion and peppers. Que rico!

Inspired by the owners’ favorite soup in Austin. Organic chicken broth base with carrot, onion, celery, poblano pepper, and garlic. Garnished with avocado, cilantro, Monterey jack and tortilla strips (GF).

Nachos
Not your average messy pile of chips. Baked tostadas evenly layered and broiled with our refried beans and cheddar. Add garnish from our salsa bar! (GF, V) Half is 2 whole corn tortillas, full is 4.
quesadilla
Homemade flour tortilla grilled with Monterey jack cheese. Small side of guac and sour cream on us, at your request. Add garnish from our salsa bar! (V) Half is 1 tortilla, whole is 2 tortillas.
mico salad
Organic romaine lettuce, red cabbage, avocado slices, crispy bacon, tomato, shredded Monterey jack cheese and homemade tortilla strips. Ask for it “chopped” to have it all premixed/chopped for you!

We use high quality meat, lard, butter and wheat flour in many of our dishes.
For our VEGETARIAN and GLUTEN-FREE FRIENDS, we can substitute our flour tortillas for corn (note: we are not a gluten-free facility) and VEGAN black beans for our refried beans.

We pride ourselves on quality, scratch-made and authentic Tex-Mex comfort food. Our menu is intentionally simple and casual.
We use local and organic when possible. Our beans are cooked for hours before they’re refried, our salsas and dressings are made in- house and—perhaps most of all—we take great pride in our signature homemade flour tortillas!
